Admission Procedure
A holistic, merit-based admission process — from application to counseling.
How admissions work
Admission Notices
HLM Group of Institutions practices a holistic approach of assessment in its Undergraduate and Post-Graduate programs. Our Admissions processes evaluate each applicant and allows them to present their unique identity through every stage of the process. Offers of Admission are made to deserving candidates for the programme to which they have applied based on their overall performance in our stated application and admissions processes.
All decisions taken by the Admissions Committee are final and will be communicated with the applicant by the deadlines set for each programme. No request for re-evaluation of the final decision received by the applicant will be considered. The admissions process will be followed in its entirety on the basis of the merit of the applicant. No formal or informal recommendations from any individual(s) will be entertained or considered.

Step by step
How to apply
Admission to both nursing diplomas runs on merit, and the college admits once a year. This is the order the process runs in — every step below is a page you can read before you commit to anything.
Step 1: Choose your programme
GNM runs three years and closes with a six-month internship; ANM runs two. Both are affiliated to UPSMF, Lucknow and approved by INC, New Delhi, and the two are set side by side on the Programs page.
Step 2: Check that you are eligible
Your age at admission, the qualifying examination and the stream you took it in decide which diploma you can apply to. Each programme page carries the criteria in full.
Step 3: Keep your documents ready
Certificates, mark sheets, ID and address proof, score card and photographs are collected at several stages of the process rather than all at once. The checklist sets out every one of them.
Step 4: Apply
Register on the HLM application portal and complete the form online, or speak to the admission office and apply at the campus.
Step 5: Meet a counselor
Admission counseling comes before the decision, not after it — the cell talks through the programme, where it leads and what it asks of you. Fee assistance is assessed separately.
Step 6: Offer of admission
Offers are made to deserving candidates on the merit of the application, and the Admissions Committee communicates its decision by the deadline set for the programme. The affidavit below is signed at admission.
Zero tolerance
Anti Ragging
As per the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court and guidelines of UGC / AICTE / MHRD, it is mandatory for every student and his/her parents to submit an anti-ragging affidavit at the time of first admission and thereafter each year at the time of annual registration. The process for filling online anti ragging affidavits is communicated by HODs.

- WhenAt the time of first admission, and again each year at annual registration.

Guidance first
Counseling
Admission counseling is the first and most important step leading to a proper gateway to career counseling.
To sort out the problems of students, reach appropriate solutions, take responsible decisions, and enable students to become self-actualized individuals, a Cell has been formed.

For questions, or an appointment to meet with the counselor, write to the cell — or call the admission office during working hours.
