Document Checklist
During the process of admission, candidates shall be required to submit copies of various certificates and documentation. Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready for submission at various stages of admission process.
Academic records
What you have studied and passed — the papers eligibility is decided on.
- 1 Photocopy of Class 10th mark sheet & certificate
- 2 Photocopy of Class 12th mark sheet & certificate
- 3 Photocopy of School Leaving / Transfer Certificate / Migration
- 4 Photocopy of qualifying examination Score Card
- 5 Photocopy of Graduation Mark sheet / Degree If applying for post-Graduation courses
Identity & residence
Who you are and where you live, as the state records it.
- 6 Photocopy of Personal ID Proof (Aadhaar Card or Driving license)
- 7 Photocopy of Residential Address Proof
- 8 Photocopy of Domicile Certificate
- 9 Photocopy of Caste Certificate
Character & conduct
Confirmation from your last institution, and an account of any break in study.
- 10 Photocopy of Character Certificate
- 11 Gap affidavit If applicable
Application & payment
What ties the documents above to your application on file.
- 12 Application Form or Application No. (In case of online application Form)
- 13 Original Registration Payment Receipts
- 14 4 Passport size Photographs
On the day
Bringing them in
Nothing above is asked for all at once — the papers are collected across the stages of admission, and the office will tell you what is needed at each. Gathering the set in advance is what keeps a stage from being held up, particularly the certificates that have to be applied for.
- Bring originals
- Originals are seen for verification at the time of admission; the photocopies are what the college retains.
- Photographs
- Four passport-size photographs, of the same recent print — they are used across the admission papers.
- Apply early for certificates
- Domicile, caste and character certificates are issued by others, and are the ones most often still pending.
