HLM’s Students participated in World's largest debate ‘’Speak for India"

HLM’s Students participated in World's largest debate ‘’Speak for India’’ organized by the Times of India and the Federal Bank of India in New Delhi.
As per India’s flagship CSR, this program was aimed as the world’s largest debate platform covering multiple states – Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal & New Delhi – and in multiple regional languages, besides English.
The objective was to improve the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions.
The program was inaugurated by the Director of Times of India and the dignitaries of Federal Bank of India.
The session was chaired by Times of India & Nav Bharat Times. The chief guests of the program were Mr. Fernandes, Mr. Anupam Kher, Mr. Kamal Hasan and Ms. Soha Ali Khan.
For the debate competition, contemporary topics were given to students to elaborate their views on the given platform and showcase their knowledge skills.
Each participant spoke their mind on the rationale for the execution and the potential future effects leading to a wide spectrum of contrasting views heralded as an inevitable future.
The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts and perspectives that enhanced the knowledge and understanding among students.
In the event, our (HLM) 80+ students participated. The session received enthusiastic participation from the students on the regional languages and received the citation and certificates.
The HLMians were accompanied by the faculty members - Dr. Rajesh Kardam, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Mr. Mukul Sharma and Ms. Bhavna Atre.
As HLM, We always encourage students to participate in such programs so that they can learn new things and enhance their hidden talents.
